For the last 2 years I have preferred doing my workout in the evening after a full day of study !
My thought process behind this is to keep my workout break in the evening as a reward for a day of studying ! And it has worked pretty well for me.
I love to stick to my routines ! However this morning I did something different-
Woke up at 4:30 am as usual , but when I after to go for a shower, out of nowhere I thought what if I do my workout in the morning today ?
Without much thought I finalised it and texted on Youtube and Discord to let know my study buddies that I would be starting our regular 5:15-5:30 am live stream a little later.
I got changed for my workout , I have been cycling and running for the last two weeks for workout… 👖👕
Wait, but it was 14 C here haha, so got a wind cheater, wore a wooly hat/ knit cap , got the helmet and gloves and head out… 🧢
It was a great ride, did 20km cycling🚴♂️ , 1km run 🏃♂️ followed by some stretching at a garden, before heading back home. Here’s the workout-
Reached home around 7:10 am, took a shower, ate breakfast and started studying around 8:13 am.📚
The day later has been great with good studying and didn’t feel tired or anything after this good a workout !
Looking at the day today I think this was a great off track from my regular routine !
I am planning on trying this routine for a week now starting today…
The biggest plus point is that I get to do my workout ie. cycling and running in the morning when- 👍
Hardly any vehicles are on road
Since less vehicles, no fuel exhaust I have to breath in while exercising
The Traffic lights are off and this saves a good amount of time
The morning is so fresh
It’s bright and not dark compared to the late evenings …
The definite down sides-👎
It’s gonna get super sold soon , winters coming
I might get tired , maybe..
I will be getting back to swimming from Dec , but the 5:30-6:30 am batch is for Women, so will not fit well in schedule
So, yeah I find sufficient merits in this routine for now and would try and give it a go for a week or two and decide on if I am going to continue this….

I myself do most of the activities in evening. But its better to switch up your routine ones in a while to know whats good for you. Liittle fact cortisol inc in morning and drops in evening so its better to exercise in the morning. Its what i think but never do it myself cz i cannot wake up early in the morning.
That's right we never know before trying ! Also you are right about cortisol, still the last week has had it's ups and downs , so I will reflect in tomorrows edition what I feel :))

I find it very hard to focus on both exercising and studying at the same time, usually neglect one of them. Don't know how to fit everything in the schedule and not feel exhausted all the time :/
Do men and women go to the swimming pool separately?
Oh I see Black Widow, may be just delegating 10 minutes a day for something physical is a good start, but yeah it gets difficult when you are working !
Oh no, it's mixed batches 1 hour each, but they 1 morning and 1 evening batch which is womens only , so the batch in the morning that would suite my time is womens only ... that's why..
If I could I would work out everyday. 🙈
Oh that's okay to not workout everyday Sabrina, you should just make sure you are doing the weekly requirement of around 150 minutes of exercise ! :))

Any routine that makes you feel good is good!

Yeah understand your situation Weird fish ! Yeah good to be consistent on anything ,,, how about luke warm showers ? that's doable ...
